Cooper Nusbaum is the founder of Kryden and a software builder focused on practical uses of AI. His products include Kryden, a desktop AI assistant, and VODForge, a desktop application for downloading and preparing video. Both are publicly available.

He also develops websites, content-management tools, and application infrastructure for GLU and Kids GLU. VODForge grew out of that work: GLU channel partners needed a straightforward way to turn online video into usable media files. He turned that recurring problem into a standalone product. He is also beginning work with Current as an independent vendor through Kryden Ventures LLC.

Cooper’s early technical interests included cryptocurrency mining and later cybersecurity. He pursued that focus through a 2024 internship at Comfort Systems USA’s Houston corporate office, where he performed internal penetration testing. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems in May 2025, he shifted his focus toward AI and building software products.

He writes about AI and software development from a builder’s perspective, with work spanning product design, implementation, testing, and release. Across his projects, he focuses on making capable technology easier to use and turning practical needs into maintainable software.
